Ford Focus WRC "Snow Effect"

Months ago my local slot car dealer announced the forthcoming release of a Ford Focus with snow effect. Many of his customers were waiting impatiently for this car. The dirt looking cars did need a snowy colleague and they got an ice baby. The print of this car is one of the best ever made.

16 rally models

SCX is famous for the rally cars. In the new 2001 catalogue you can choose between 16 rally models. The Ford Focus WRC "Snow Effect" is one of the top designs. The SCX technology is progressive. The four-wheel drive car has a guide with suspension, four lights and a removable and adjustable magnet.

Magnet is far too strong

In my humble opinion the magnet is far too strong. Even on the highest position it gives too much magnetism. The slot car is flipping non-realistic if you approach the curve a little bit too fast. During the test drive the Focus made a wonderful flip with twist and landed in the right slot! From the jury I got the highest rating!

Very loud slot cars

I think that SCX cars are very loud, especially of my Ninco track. My Pleasuredome circuit is not a rally circuit. Probably the car needs a rally track or better, the super sliding curve set of SCX.
