Get used to the color

Although you have to get used to the color, the print of this car is beautifully executed. The VW emblems at the front and back of the car are realistic and the blue boxed flag make this slot car a feast for the eye.
I only regret that Ninco has used the color red for the wing and sunblind.

All-wheel-drive slot car

Like Ninco's blue Sony also this Golf is an all-wheel-drive car. The 4x4 system works really well, although it is known that a front wheel suspension does not have a function in a slot car.
The big difference between the Sony and the Catalunya Golf is the choice of motor. The NC2 motor powers the Sony. The Catalunya is using the standard motor, the NC1. I think that the NC1 gives more than enough power to this car.

Needs a different approach

This slot car needs a different approach of racing because of the short wheelbase. You expect from a rally car that it is drifting around the corners, but if speed is too high it flips surprisingly. This is the reason that many slot racers do not like this car, but they have them almost all because of the limitation of this edition.
