Porsche 911 has always been very popular
Porsche is one of the best-known car manufacturers around the world. Especially the Porsche 911 has always been very popular. Probably it is one of the most produced slot cars ever. Every slot car racer owns at least one model of this type.
New generation
Do we need another 911 GT3? I don't think so, but why did I buy the Philips Porsche? The answer is that I do not have (yet?) the "Kadach" and "Cherau" out of the Ninco program and I wanted a 911 of the new generation.
Philips slot car
This Philips slot car has a beautiful blue color. I like brightly colored cars. When you race with a fast slot car you do need to have good eye contact with the slot car. The brighter the color of the car the better the eye contact will be.
Excellence was expected
The race performance of the Philips 911 GT3 is what you expect from a Porsche; very fast and a thrill to drive. If you change the tires for worn-out tires or slicks the race fun will increase.
