Inside the box you will find two extra guides with braids and a disc magnet. Racers who like to add more magnetic down-force will like this gesture of Scalextric. On a small instruction sheet it is showed how to add the magnet. Put the disc magnet, which is not very strong, in the bracket pocket behind the front wheels for extra down-force. Probably you do not need the extra magnet. A powerful bar magnet, in the rear of the car, gives enough down-force.Steering wheels
The front axle is solid with no steering feature as seen on the Formula-1 models of Ninco and SCX. Steering wheels look great, but most people prefer a solid axle for racing.Level of finish and detailThe level of finish and detail shows a new standard in model car racing. At many home tracks of model car racers around the world the Mercedes or Williams has broken the lap record.
