Ninco 2001 - 2002
New Ninco catalogue

Ninco kept us waiting a long time for the new catalogue. It took Ninco until 2002 to publish a brochure about the products of 2001. It was worth waiting for. Until now Ninco was only communicating with pictures and symbols. In the new catalogue Ninco gives a lot of information, which is especially interesting for beginners.
Catalogue 2001
The new catalogue has the same format as the previous one. Of course you can find an overview of the present sets and models. The brochure gives, as on the renewed Ninco web-site, a list of all previous released slot cars. The beautiful big photographs of cars in action and the photos of the rally tracks attract attention. There are also detailed pictures of slot car techniques. The explanation of the use of (spare) parts is very interesting for beginners.
Trackmap

Ninco released a new version of Trackmap. In the meantime I have bought the new layout design software (V.2001). I was unpleasantly surprised that the new CD-ROM is an exact copy of the old version (Trackmap V.2000). According to the Dutch Ninco dealer I was unlucky in buying a wrong-labeled CD-ROM.
Classic Cobra slot cars
The NC1 motor will drive the classic Cobra slot cars according to the new catalogue. To change the motor is probably a wise decision, because the NC2 motor was too powerful for the relatively light model.
Vario 16 dual electronic controller
The Vario 16 dual electronic controller has got a new feature. With the blue colored controller it will be possible to switch the polarity. Ninco is becoming more interesting for the racer who attends competitions. The X-trem motor is specially designed for the long club raceways and Ninco is offering ball bearings for the demanding customers.
Flyers

Besides the 2001 catalogue Ninco will promote its products with two flyers. In one flyer you can find the cars and in the other the sets and track system.
Preview 2002
At the toy fair in Nuremberg (Germany) Ninco presented the four pages preview brochure. In 2002 Ninco will finally release the Arrows A20. Due to license problems Ninco was not permitted to release this Formula-1 model earlier. A few new models are presented in the brochure, such as the Mini, Austin Healey MKIII, and two Safety cars (Formula-1 and DTM), the Opel V8 and Saxo. The Rally Catalunya-Costa Brava special edition slot car is the Subaru WRC. In other words, there is a lot to look forward to.
