The McLaren F1 GTR was one of the most powerful and most expensive production cars in the world. The car is developed by McLaren cars LTD, a subsidiary of the McLaren Formula One Team. Gordon Murray is de designer of the McLaren. The car is powered by BMW. The engine is a BMW 6.1 V12. The high-speed performance is 370 km/hour.
The first car was developed in 1991. 64 cars were made. Several racing versions of the McLaren are produced from 1993. The McLaren won many races in 1995, 1996 and 1997.

The model has a length 15,4 millimeters and a width of 62,8 mm. The wheelbase of 85 mm and other dimensions makes this car a perfect slot car. The model has been produced with profile tires and slicks. The dimensions of the front tires are 19x10 and the rear tires are 21,5x11,5. The model is executed with an inline motor. Three types of motors are used until now, the NC-1, NC-2 and NC-5. Two kinds of magnets (450/1500 gm) are used. The strength of the magnets depends to the power of the motor.
