Models of Porsche
A large number of manufacturers have produced models of Porsche. The Porsche 911 Turbo of Ninco is a real eye-catcher. This model combines good looks with great performance.
Another winner
Only every now and then manufacturers succeed to bring a model on the market that combines good track performance and a beautiful design. The Porsche 911 Turbo of Ninco is one of these successful designs. The other Porsches that have been produced by Ninco are the classic 356, the 911 GT1 and the 911 GT3.
Wheelbase
Ninco got some criticism for releasing only small rally cars during a long period. The "Turbo" got a warm welcome because of its appealing look. This car is not a real big car. Believe it or not, but the Porsche 934 has a shorter wheelbase than the Punto, Clio, Saxo and Mini.
Speeder
Just out the box the car shows excellent handling. The NC5 powered car is easy to control. Although the motor is fixed properly, it is wise to glue (or use tape) the motor to the motor mount. A fitted motor brings the best contact of the pinion to the gear wheel.
Sometimes the motors of slot cars become very hot. Especially the motors with closed cans. The NC5 Speeder motor has an opening in the can under the pink foil. The motor does not become that hot during racing if you remove the foil at the gap.
Performance
The active-suspension has already proven to be a wonderful design. The shock absorbers make it possible to take the turns at higher speed. The car is still easy to control if you take out the magnet. Only two screws have to be unscrewed to take the body of the chassis.
Conclusion
This model of Ninco got the looks and shows great performance on the track. The handling of this Porsche is excellent - with or without a magnet - for both beginners and experienced drivers. Do not forget to fix the motor, otherwise you will wear out many gear wheels.
