Landscaping a model racetrack is bringing the race atmosphere to your home.
For inspiration you can check out the looks of your local racetrack. Scenery is a matter of taste. Several manufacturers offered track buildings.
Corgi and Herpa were manufacturers that produced wonderful pits and press boxes. Also Marx and Bachmann offered a full line of accessories (figures, bridges and guardrails).

Reims revisited

SlotcarAcademy.com is inspired by the remains of the pit buildings of one of the most terrifying racetracks of the fifties. Almost untouched you can find in Riems-Gueux grandstands and garages of the old days. The track is out of use since the seventies.

Circuit Pleasuredome

The name of my permanent racetrack is "Pleasuredome", because model car racing is almost the ultimate activity.
At this moment I own two tracks. I started with a Ninco track, which I still use as a test track. For my permanent track I use track pieces of Scalextric Sport.
