In 1962 Strombecker announced in the fall issue of Table Top Topics a record album. The title of the record was Sounds of road racing. Actual road racing sounds were recorded at the Elkhart Lake and Sebring circuits on a fifteen-minute record. Side one is recorded at Elkhart Lake. You can hear sound effects with sports commentator. Side two is just all race car sound effects, recorded at Sebring.Recorded by Balco ProductionsSounds of road racing is recorded by Balco Productions in Chicago. The label is white and says Strombecker in bold white over blue. Below that is says Sounds of road racing with the strombecker logo of the blue #22 race car over the centre hole.There are serialnumbers: side one ZCTV-87619, side two ZCTV-87620.
